Built 5,3l Gen4 Aluminium long block

Aluminum block 5.3l Gen4 LS engine with good "243" LS6 casting heads.

Disassembled, cleaned, checked and in necessary parts restored from a good starting point of the engine.

Variable Cam Timing (VVT) and active fuel management (AFM/DOD) disabled with LS3/LS7 parts.

Equipped with a Stage 4 "Weekend warrior" cam that offers more power and through rev range, about 60hp more peak power and a lot of sensitivity at top revs, has been well thought out also for the turbo engine, and the piston ring clearances of the engine also take this into account.

An excellent engine for many uses, as an aluminum block, it is also suitable for Euro/Japanese machine swaps, drifter engine, etc.

The 5.3 block has thick cylinder tubes, the pistons and connecting rods of the Gen4 machines are strong and well the adjusted engine can withstand 700 hp when supercharged, even in heavy use.

Engine comes without pickuptube as most people dont use the oilpan. Damper is damaged and might not be usable. Valve covers will need love or changing.
