Built 6L Iron block gen4 LY6/LS3

A machine that is very close to LS3 specs, with an LS3 cam. The complete work report is available as well with all parts and tolerances. The work was completed by Mikko Viitala.

Here's a summary:

"Careful cleaning and measurement of parts, concluding that everything fits, cylinders are round, crankshaft

in size and straight and rotates when lightly attached.

Assembled with necessary new parts. Piston rings, Frame bearings

connecting rod bearings, cam bearings, all gaskets, cap bolts, manifold, LS3 camshaft and with

required valve springs.

VVT removed. New oil pump, rocker damage fixed by installing a BTR Trunnion kit on the rockers, and one

damaged swing and its push rod renewed. Extensive deck work, levels driven, new intake valves, seats and

exhaust valves machined."
